Well....I guess y'all have heard by now but talk show host Wendy Williams filed for divorce from her husband of 22 years, Kevin Hunter! The couple has an 19 year old son, Kevin Hunter jr. Wendy says on the divorce docs that irreconcilable differences led to the breakdown of the marriage over the last six months. Wendy allegedly had Kevin served with the divorce papers on set of The Wendy Williams Show (Kevin is an executive producer on the show) and hired extra security to deal with any altercation that might occur in case Kevin got enraged!!!!! Now at the time, Kevin did not get upset. However, Wendy decided to keep the three extra security guards due to the fact that allegedly leading up to the divorce, there were several altercations between the couple and one of those altercations led to Kevin having to be restrained!!!! So shortly after he was served, Kevin stepped down as executive producer due to Wendy suffering from emotional distress from his presence on the set. Wendy has secured a new residence in Manhattan and says she plans to focus on her sobriety and her son. She wants the courts to decide the appropriate amount of child support for Kevin jr.
We can only speculate as to what went wrong with the relationship, but allegedly Kevin has been having an affair with a woman named Sharina Hudson. Apparently, Kevin impregnated Sharina and she gave birth to a baby girl! While all this was going on, Wendy had been secretly living in a sober house to deal with her addiction issues and shortly after she moved out of the sober house she had a relapse with her alcohol addiction and was rushed to a hospital! This was the breaking point for Wendy as she had been questioning Kevin about the affair the whole time and he kept lying to her until the very end. Check out some photos below:
Now, that is not even the most shocking part of this story! Just a couple of days ago, an aspiring singer named Aveon Falstar came forward stating that he had allegedly had a sexual relationship with Kevin after he signed to Kevin's record label!!!!! Aveon described the relationship as a secret relationship involving abuse. Falstar also claims he sent a pre suit letter to Kevin and his legal team requesting an undisclosed amount due to sexual assault and sexual humiliation. Kevin allegedly did not reply to the letter but his legal team released a statement saying the claims are completely false and baseless. Y'all....Dis Tew Much!!!!! No wonder Wendy is unraveling!
Kevin Hunter released an apology which read....." I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans. I am going through a time of self reflection and am trying to right some wrongs. 28 years ago I met an amazing woman: Wendy Williams. At the time, I did not realize that she would not only become my wife, but would also change the face of entertainment and the world. I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally. No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family, and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine. I ask that you please give me and my family privacy as we heal. Thank you".
Y'all all of this honestly has to be a lot to deal with and could cause even the strongest person to fall off the wagon! Keep Wendy and her family in your prayers!
