Remy Ma

Okay, So I wanted to give y'all a quick update on the Remy Ma situation. Remy turned herself into authorities last week and was booked for misdemeanor assault due to the allegations place against her by Brittany Taylor (see my previous story for details). Brittany allegedly claims Remy punched her in the eye during a concert at NYC's Irving Plaza. Her bail was set at $1500.00 and she bonded out quickly. The Judge also ordered a protective order so Remy is not to have any contact with Taylor and Remy will also have a 8pm curfew!!!!! Remy's lawyer Dawn Florio believes that the case will be dropped because they have visual evidence via security cameras installed in Remy's house that show she was home at 9:30pm on the date in question which is the time Brittany says she was assaulted. Florio also insists that there is no surveillance footage from Irving Plaza that backs Taylor's claim. Florio alleges she obtained a photo from the night of the alleged incident that is timestamped hours after the alleged assault that shows Brittany with no visible marks on her face. Remy alleges after she left home that night she went to Target to get items for her baby and didn't get to Irving Plaza until 10:45pm, 15 minutes before she was scheduled to perform. Brittany has also obtained a civil lawyer, which means she probably plans to sue! I feel like Remy will be vindicated and Brittany needs to go the hell on somewhere and stop playing with people's lives. This is not cool at all! Anyway, as always I will keep y'all updated.
