All I can say is .............Whew Chile!!!!! Part 2 of the Love and Hip Hop reunion had me holding my breath and clutching my pearls! Lets get to it. The show started right up where it left off. Safaree came in and it was crystal clear that he was not up for no BS. The host Nina Parker wasted no time bringing up Safaree's beef with Joe Budden. When I say Safaree went ham ...... he went HAM. The beef started because some of the cast took a trip to Costa Rica. Joe Budden called Safaree ahead of time to ask if Safaree was bringing his fiancée Erica Mena. Safaree told Joe no, but later decided to bring her anyway. While on the trip, Joe confronted Safaree about it and threatened to put Safaree's face in the sand! At the time Safaree was angry but basically just asked Joe not to disrespect him and said that he didn't feel he needed to give him a heads up that Erica was coming. So on the reunion, when host Nina Parker asked Safaree what he had to say about the incident, he called Joe fake and accused Joe of turning up for the cameras. Of course Joe tried to back peddle and say he had no issue with Safaree and he just wanted a heads up, but Safaree would not let up. He even threatened to come to Joe's hotel after the show to eff him up! Things got very heated, Cyn got involved and Safaree shut her down too (but in a more respectful way). The cast was torn. Some people were saying that Safaree was wrong to bring his fiancée Erica Mena on the Costa Rica trip without telling Joe and Cyn first because Erica and Cyn dated at one point, while some of the cast brought up the fact that nobody from the cast ever actually saw Erica in Costa Rica and she was never around any of them or ever filmed so there should have been no problem. I agree, if they didn't see her, didn't pay for her trip, and did not even know she was there until she posted a picture of herself on Instagram then why all the drama? So Nina asked Safaree why he was not being his normal jovial self and he apologized for being aggressive but said that he was tired of people disrespecting him. Nina moved on to his issues with Rich Dollaz. She asked Safaree why he didn't tell Rich he was dating Erica. Safaree replied that he wasn't going to speak about his relationship with anybody. Rich tried to get smart basically saying that he doesn't care about Erica and that she has had several men under her belt since they dated. He didn't get to finish because Safaree checked him too lol. Rich felt embarrassed and ran and jumped across the table at Safaree and was drug away by security. Yandy spoke up and said that she had no problem with Joe, Cyn or Rich but Safaree was doing what he was supposed to do and take up for his woman and that they were wrong to keep disrespecting him. I personally am proud of Safaree for standing up for himself because people have been taking shots at him all season!
Moving right along... Celebrity Makeup artist Jonathan Fernandez talked about his addiction to substances. He said it really made him a person he didn't like. During the season. Jonathan had issues with cast mate JuJu. Apparently, Jonathan and JuJu talked about a podcast that they wanted to do together. Somebody reached out to JuJu to do the podcast but when she told them she wanted to do it with Jonathan, they didn't want to work with him. JuJu ended up doing the podcast alone. Jonathan cut JuJu off and never let her explain the situation but was going around talking about her and telling everybody she was fake. Word got back to JuJu and it all came to a head at Jonathan's birthday party. Instead of Jonathan confronting JuJu, his friend and fellow cast mate Anais took it upon herself to confront her. This led to him falling out with Anais! Anyway, JuJu and Jonathan buried the hatchet and at some point he made Amends with Anais. Anais did not finish the season due to her allegedly being committed to a mental facility by her husband but Jonathan did provide an update on her condition and he said she is doing better and focusing on her family, marriage and health. Good luck to Anais and Jonathan on their treatment and I hope they both continue down a good path.
Rich Dollaz came back on set and spoke about his daughter Ashley's mother Miracle. Miracle is facing 20yrs in prison for shooting her abusive husband. Rich then talked about the effect this has on his daughter and said that Miracle will be going to trail on April 19th. The cast gave him some support and Remy Ma told him that she thinks Miracle should take the plea deal. The segment ended with Rich basically saying Ashley feels that it is her responsibility to care for her younger sibling in the event that Miracle goes to prison but he wont let her do that because she needs to go back to college and finish and better herself. Hopefully everything works out for this family and good luck to Miracle.
Nina spoke with Nya Lee about how much she had changed and her problems (the argument that took place at the winery that I wrote about in my story on llhreunion part 1) with Sydney Starr and Mariahlynn . There was a huge argument and Nya felt disrespected when Mariah spoke about her scar (Nya was in a fight a while back and the girl she was fighting with cut her very badly under neck and in her chest area and she has some pretty bad scars). Nya then fires off at Mariah about Mariah's mom being a crackhead (too far!) and a physical fight almost started. Then Sydney tried to interject herself in the argument but the rest of the cast made her shut up lol. I feel like Nya was provoked all season but the mom thing was below the belt! Families are off limits. I'm so proud of Nya for not fighting. She might just be changing for real lol.
The next issue that was tackled was with Maggie Carrie and Maino. Maggie was shot in the leg back in 2016 at a concert in NY where Maino was opening for T.I. This left her with an extreme case of PTSD. Prior to the incident Maggie was an up and coming singer but she kind of put singing on hold. At that point Maino encouraged her to pursue other business ventures and discouraged her from pursuing music by telling her how hard and grimy it is and how she will most likely never make it to the top. This season Maggie was trying to get back to the music and felt Maino was not supportive. He had a song called Badder Than Yours and Maggie wanted to rap on the song. Maino didn't take her seriously and instead was gonna put cast mate Alexis Skyy on the track instead without telling Maggie! Maggie found out and felt some type of way toward Maino. Eventually, they resolved their issues and they are doing well now. Hopefully there will be some wedding bells in the future for these two.
Remy Ma and Papoose gave us a little update on the birth of their daughter Reminisce Mackenzie (The Golden Child). Remy talked about their struggles getting pregnant and how she hemorrhaged after the birth and had to have three blood transfusions. Pap spoke about how he wore a suit to the birth because he wanted his daughter's first image of him to be as a business man and not a street dude. Pap also came out with a sneaker line called Black Love! The couple says they may try again for another child in 2020. Good Luck to them!
Alexis Skyy moved from LA to NY to work on her music career. She was signed to Tr3way Music group. She quickly saw that everything was not as it seems when most of tr3way was indicted on multiple charges and everybody got locked up. Alexis also talked about how a luncheon for Tr3way that she attended was shot up! Finally Alexis was asked about the paternity of her daughter Alaiya. Alaiya's father is rapper Fetty Wap but another rapper Solo Lucci was claiming paternity. This caused major issues and Fetty wasn't taking responsibility for their daughter who was born prematurely at 1lb and has developmental delays. As a result Alexis talked about how she was trolled online because Alaiya receives Medicaid (which she is entitled to based on her condition). Eventually, a paternity test was done and Fetty was proven to be the father. Alexis says she did have a relationship with Lucci but not during the time she was in a relationship with Fetty and she has always adamantly denied that Lucci was the father. She says Fetty is now in Alaiya's life and they are all doing well. I love happy endings lol.
