Apparently some controversy has sparked with comedian Jess Hilarious aka Jess With The Mess. She posted a video to Instagram where 4 men she thought were Muslim (the men were in fact Sikhs) were being kicked off a plane she was on. Jess thought it was funny, but once she got slammed on social media she first got defensive then later apologized!

So it looks as if Jess felt uncomfortable being on a plane with these men and asked that they be removed. Instagram roasted her for being racist and xenophobic. Also, there was an incident that day in New Zealand where a group of Muslim were murdered while praying so the people accused her of being insensitive. Jess then went on the defensive and posted basically saying that she felt how she felt and didn't care what anybody else thought about her.

Jess says she is not racist but admits that she does not know the difference between Muslims and Sikhs. She said "Ni**as know I'm never fu**ing racist, but I spotted something and I put it out earlier and we just got evacuated from our plane. f**k y'all, I'm scared, I'm scared...y'all mad at me cause I don't side with every other black person.
Jess then posted a tearful video apology on Instagram. She said " I don't know if these particular individuals that were on the plane are aware of my actions by now. Either way, I would love to apologize personally to them first, for my insensitive and ignorant actions, Sadly I had no knowledge of the tragedy in New Zealand, which doesn't excuse my behavior". She also thanked everyone who reached out to make this a teachable moment. Jess went on to say "I'm still learning and when I say I'm still learning, I was unaware of Sikh's as well. A lot of them reached out to me, educated me on who they are and what they stand for and how they help the world in different ways. I didn't know that. I am ignorant to a lot of s**t. She denied that she got the men removed from the flight. She ended the video saying "I know what the blogs look like, I know how it looks, but I didn't do that".

All I can say is I hope Jess learned the error of her ways! I hope she at least thinks before she posts anyway! Jess said she would donate 15,000.00 to victims of Christchurch, New Zealand.
