Y'all this is some real serious shit! Rapper A$AP Rocky is being illegally detained in Sweden! As usual, I have the scoop on what went down. Allegedly what happened was that A$AP and his crew badly beat up a guy in Sweden. The reason for the beat down was that this particular guy was harassing A$AP and his bodyguard and even eventually hit the bodyguard in the head with a pair of headphones. If that wasn't enough, the dude kept following A$AP's crew threatening to call the police over the broken headphones. Now I know what y'all are thinking......he's the one who broke them shits!!!!! Anyway, there is video footage of A$AP trying to play peacemaker and get the guy to leave them alone. He spoke to the guy with the help of a translator for several minutes telling the guy "We don't want to fight y'all, we don't want to go to jail". The guy then continued to follow and harass them for another 30 minutes until A$AP and his crew had enough!!!!! Check out some video footage of the whole ordeal below:

Now all that was just the beginning of the trouble for A$AP! Rocky and his bodyguard were later arrested for the incident but the bodyguard was eventually released due to insufficient evidence. A$AP on the other hand is still being held (illegally might I add) and he's been in custody for two weeks already. A Swedish Judge decided that A$AP can be detained until authorities decide if he will charge him with assault. If he's convicted of assault he could face up to 6 years in prison....yes 6 damn years!!!!!

Later, when A$AP voluntarily went in to speak with authorities about the alleged incident, he was immediately taken in to custody and put on a restricted visitation list which only allowed visits from an elected attorney. It's standard practice for the U.S. Embassy to be alerted when an American is arrested but this did not happen nor was A$AP allowed to see an attorney of his choosing. Under the Vienna Convention for Consular Relations Treaty that the United States and Sweden signed in 1961, when a foreigner is arrested he or she has the right to a visit from an official at the U.S. Consulate. A$AP allegedly requested this but was denied and when he did get the visit two days later he was not allowed to meet with them in private. This clearly has become a breech of his human rights. To add insult to injury, the jail is allegedly being kept in inhumane conditions. Sources say Rocky is in a cell next to a mentally insane man who has been banging his head against the wall and throwing shit (and I mean that literally) and nobody has cleaned it up. Also, A$AP is allegedly eating only an apple a day because the food is not fit to eat! Sources also say he has been sleeping on a Yoga Mat on the floor with no blanket.

With all this mess going on A$AP has had to cancel all of his July tour dates. Y'all this is a real effed up situation. I hope he is released soon and that he will be okay until then. As usual, I'll give y'all the updates as I get them.
